Earning a living isn’t always easy, and in some cases it can lead to a lot of pain. At HealthBridge Chiropractic, we are here to help with a variety of common workplace injuries and to see that you are able to get the care you need.

Common Ways Injuries Happen at Work

There are many workplace injuries that happen that a chiropractor can help you heal from. A few examples include:

  • Falling from high places
  • Slipping/tripping and falling
  • Reactionary injuries (catching yourself after slipping, but not falling)
  • Over-exertion injuries – such as too much heavy lifting
  • Repetitive motion injuries (includes carpal tunnel)
  • Vehicle accidents while on the job

If any of these injuries happen to you while at work it is important to consult with a chiropractor in order to properly assess the extent of your injury. There are many cases when accidents happen, and there is not a lot of immediate pain due to an adrenaline rush or because you are focused on the task at hand and you inadvertently work through an injury. Once life calms down however, you may begin feeling your pain more and more, and it may impede your ability to do your job or enjoy other activities in your life. Some health care professionals may focus mostly on immediate pain relief through medication or suggest correcting the problem with surgery, which may or may not work. At HealthBridge Chiropractic we offer a more natural approach that doesn’t involve drugs or surgery and that allows you to play an active role in your own recovery process.
